There are even more opportunities for students to engage in Robotics using technology starting in the 2015-2016 school year.

    Robotics Team

FMS has had an award winning Robotics teams for the last 6 years.  This year will be no different.  We will host one FIRST LEGO League team this year.  The team will meet on Tuesdays (with the Tech Club) and on Thursdays by themselves.  There will be an application process to join the Robotics' team and there will be a maximum of 12 students on the team.

The Robotics' team will run from Sept. - the end of the last competition we go to (regional, state semi-finals, state finals).

The Robotics' team is a place to work with a tight knit group on building, programming, science research and teamwork in order to compete against other teams.

The Robotics' team will monitor attendance closely.

The Robotics' team members will be expected to attend all meetings (Tues. and Thurs.), three Saturday workshops, competitions, Science and Tech Fair, fundraisers, etc.  A calendar will be handed out at the beginning of the year.

Students will meet in the Commons after school and wait for Mr. Chow-Miller to pick them up.

Students will be able to take the late bus home which leaves at approximately 4:15.
